Biography

High School: Wermuth was a four-year varsity player for Mt. Carmel High School, where she was named San Diego Union-Tribune Scholar-Athlete. During her sophomore season, she led the team in blocks and aces, she followed that up by leading the team in blocks as a junior and led the team to the Southern California regional playoffs. She was named to the honorable mention team in the highly competitive Palomar League. This past season, she was the team captain and switched to the right-side and played all rotations. She led the team in aces and kills, was second in blocks and digs in league play. She was named to the Second-Team All-Conference.

WNMU (2012): Saw action in 25 matches, playing in 53 sets as she tallied 35 kills and 33 blocks.
