Western New Mexico University Athletics

WNMU (2014): Higgins was named to the First-Team All-RMAC Academic squad with a 3.60 GPA. She finished second on the team with a .339 batting average, collecting 64 hits, tying for the team lead in doubles with 15, triples with two and also added two home runs and 24 RBI in playing all 53 games, starting 52 all over the infield. On defense she accumulated 103 putouts and 117 assists. Higgins tallied a high in hits with three on three occasions (St. Mary’s, Chadron State and Black Hills State). She tallied 18 multi-hit games and had a high in RBI with three also happen three different times (CSU-Pueblo, UCCS and Black Hills State).
WNMU (2013): Higgins tied for the team lead in home runs with four, along with the third highest batting average (.331). She added to that 14 RBI, a team-high 13 doubles and 32 runs scored in starting all 51 games seeing time all along the infield. She was named to the All-RMAC Third Team and All-RMAC Academic Second-Team. She recorded a season-high three hits five times and her 14 RBI were spread out getting one each in 14 games.
WNMU (2012): Had a stellar first season with the Mustangs. She finished third on the team in batting average (.349), while also hitting seven home runs, 45 RBI and 18 doubles. Posted a .984 fielding percentage at first base, while also being named to the All-RMAC Preseason Team.
High School (Senior): Team Offensive Player of the Year, Second-Team Avocado East League. Team
claimed the Avocado East League Championship. She was named to the San Diego All-Academic Team.
High School (Junior): Team MVP, Second-Team Avocado League
High School (Sophomore): Team MVP, Second-Team Avocado League
High School (Freshman): Team Defensive Player of the Year, Valley League Honorable Mention
