GOODYEAR, Ariz. - The Western New Mexico University men's golf team wrapped up play at the RJGA Men's Palm Valley Classic with a three-round total of 870 (+6), earning a 13th-place finish.

Leading the charge for WNMU was Jacob Alcorta (Silver City/Silver HS), who posted rounds of 68 (-4), 74 (+2), and 69 (-3) to finish at 211 (-5) and tie for 14th place individually. Alcorta's consistent scoring and calm under pressure made him a standout performer across all three rounds.

Tomas Ribeiro (Porto Seguro, BR/Evolução Centro HS) opened strong with 69 (-3) and followed with 72 (E), but encountered setbacks in the final round with an 80 (+8), bringing his total to 221 (+5) and placing him T-72.

Arnav Arkanath (Milton Keynes, GB/Sir Henry Floyd HS) delivered steady play with rounds of 73 (+1), 73 (+1), and 75 (+3) to also finish at 221 (+5), tying Ribeiro for 72nd place.

Oscar Feschuk (Toronto, Ontario, Canada/St. Michael's College School) started with an impressive 70 (-2), followed by two rounds of 76 (+4), closing at 222 (+6) and tied for 75th.

Max Kaesebier (Bad Langensalza, Germany/Pierre-de-Coubertin Gymnasium) recorded scores of 70 (-2) and 74 (+2) but did not complete the final round due to withdrawal, and therefore did not post an official tournament total.

In individual play, Jayden Schmitz (Oro Valley, AZ/Ironwood Ridge HS) bounced back after a challenging first round to shoot 77 (+5), 70 (-2), and 77 (+5) for a 224 (+8) total, tying for 82nd. Jack Wadsworth (Plain City, UT/Fremont HS) showed gradual improvement across the tournament, finishing with rounds of 79 (+7), 77 (+5), and 76 (+4) for a 232 (+16), tying for 95th.
