WICHITA, TX – WNMU Softball closed out the 3-game series against Midwestern State earlier today and fell short 1-3.
GAME 3:
Both teams, once again, started the first 2 innings scoreless in today's matchup. With a defensive error, MSU took the lead over the Mustangs in the opponent's very next at bat.
WNMU reached home plate in the top of the 4th after a single from Adlai Alvidrez (El Paso, TX/Americas HS) drove in a run. In the same inning, MSU answered back with another run and took back the game lead. MSU would score 1 final time to give a 2 run advantage over WNMU.
Kamerynn Cordova (Fowler, CA/Fowler HS) started in the circle again as she finished a complete game with 2 SOs at 27 runners faced.
