Oklahoma City, Oklahoma- The 2024 Volleyball season came to a close today for the Western New Mexico Mustangs. They would play their final game of the season, visiting Oklahoma Christian University.

Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy High School) dominated on the offense for the Mustangs with 15 kills and hitting over .400 with an average of .433.
Eimaya Medina (Las Cruces, NM/Centennial High School) also had a good day with a double-double(10 kills and 15 assists).
Carley Deck (Tucson, AZ/Tanque Verde High School) had her own valuable contribution of 3 service aces and the most blocks with 4 on the day.

Lilouann Bechec (Cannes, France) would lead the team in digs with 14.
Ava Wadley (Wichita, KS/Rose Hill High School) lead in assists with 18 total.

The Eagles and the Mustangs came out swinging in the first set with an extremely close first score of 22-25, favoring the Eagles.

Western claws back hard to come out with a definitive win in the second set of 25-19.

The Eagles will seal the deal in the fourth set, but not without great struggle from the Mustangs. The final score ended being 25-23, Eagles.
