ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -Â The Western New Mexico University Volleyball team continued the Bettye Wallace Invite on Friday night with a match against the tournament hosts, Henderson St. The Reddies defeat the Mustangs in three straight sets.

Maria Osorio (Pereira, Colombia/Calasanz) was the Mustangs offense on the night with eight kills.
Madalyn Mavady (Las Vegas, NV/Liberty High School) spread the ball around nicely for 11 assists.
Chase Kallevig (Louisburg, KS/Louisburg High School) had an impressive night serving with two aces.
On defense Bechec yet again was all over the floor, snagging 13 digs.
Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy HS) and
Naomi Kimble (Animas, NM/Animas HS) recorded a block each.

The Reddies jumped out to an early 10-3 lead on the Mustangs and never looked back. WNMU would fall in set one 25-13.

Reddies 1, Mustangs 0.
In set two, it was more of the same for the Mustangs as they could not find their groove as the Reddies jumped out a 10-1 advantage. The Mustangs would manage 11 points, as they would lose set two 25-11.

For set number three the Mustangs would come out much crispier only trailing 10-11 before the Reddies pulled away. The Reddies took set three 25-19.

The Mustangs will finish the Bettye Wallace Invite tomorrow at 7:30 AM MT with a matchup agaisnt Southeastern Oklahoma State.
