Box Score Cameron, Okla. – The Western New Mexico University Mustangs' volleyball team competed against LSC foe, Cameron University today at noon. WNMU fell against the Aggies one set to three.
The team combined a total of 25 kills today between
Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy HS) (10),
Naomi Kimble (Animas, NM/Animas HS) (9), and
Janey Cortez (El Paso, TX/East Lake HS) (6).
Cortez seemed to be all over the floor this match as she also earned an assist and 8 digs. The Mustangs had a combined total of 41 digs, with
Logan Dodge (Liberal, KS/Liberal Senior High School) who had 11 of her own and
Lilouann Bechec (Cannes, France) who had 22.
Kimble also provided some heavy defense as she had 3 blocks for herself, along with Jéssica Sales (4) and
Carley Deck (Tucson, AZ/Tanque Verde HS) (3).
After an amazing showing, Letícia Correa would go on to earn 31 assists for the Mustangs.
The Mustangs battled hard the first set, but Cameron took the edge at the end to win it out.

Also a very close set, the Mustangs survived and took the 2
nd set dub tying up the match.

The mustangs fell hard and would go on to another point losing streak giving Cameron the next set victory.

With a marginal lead at the start of set 4 against the Mustangs, Cameron finished out the match 14-25 in the last set.
