Wichita Falls, TX- The Western New Mexico University Women's Basketball team ends their road losing streak beating the MSU Mustangs 53-47.

Sydney Wright (Houston, Texas/Henley High School) was WNMU's lead scorer for the night ending with 13.
Eliza Joynes (Adelaide, South Australia/Henley Sports Academy) continues putting up numbers, finishing with eight. Both
Brooke Rodgers (Phoenix, Arizona/Cactus Shadows High School) and
Diamond Moore (Colorado Springs, CO/Harrison High School) would add six each for the night.

"Defensively we are playing well right now and competing every night in a really tough conference. We have to keep the turnovers down, but overall excellent effort and we hope to keep it moving forward" said Head Coach

On MSU's 18 turnovers, WNMU capitalized by scoring 20 points compared to MSU's 10.
Brooke Rodgers (Phoenix, Arizona/Cactus Shadows High School) ended the night with three steals.

WNMU shined by shooting 40% from the field and out scoring MSU by 6 points to win the game on the road.

MSU's leading scorers were Natalie Stice (9) and Kennedi Green (8). Mandy Withey led in rebound with 11.
