Tucson, Ariz. - Western New Mexico University will open up their outdoor Track and Field season at the University of Arizona, racing in the at the 2022 Willie Williams Classic.

On the men's side WNMU will have five men competing in the 5000 meter race starting at approximately 8:30PM, Friday, March 18th.

There will be two women opening up their outdoor season.. Margaret Orr will be competing in the 3000 meter steeplechase starting approximately at 7:40pm, Friday, March 18th. Sophia Rodriguez will be continuing the Mustang's season opener onto Saturday, where she will be competing in the 800 meter race scheduled to start at approximately 1:10pm.
