rd against UT Permian Basin. The Mustangs would lose 3-0 to the Falcons.

Jazmyne Walker (Las Vegas, NV/Legacy HS) was the offensive leader tonight as she was finished with 12 kills. Senior
Madelynn Culp (Vancouver, WA/Union High School) was yet again the Mustang assist leader on the night, with 16 assists.
Freshman
Peyton Castillo (Las Vegas, NV/Sierra Vista HS) was tonight's dig leader tonight on defense with 15 digs. Sophomore
Janey Cortez (El Paso, TX/East Lake HS) finished one behind Castillo with 14 digs.
In set on the Mustangs and Falcons would deadlocked in a battle of exchanging points. The Falcons would lead the entire set but never muster a lead bigger than 17-12. The Mustangs would squander away set one 26-24.
 Falcons 1, Mustangs 0.
Set two would begin with the Mustangs jumping out to an 9-5 lead on the Falcons. The Falcons would come storming back and win set two 25-17.
Falcons 2, Mustangs 0.
The Mustangs would hang around in set three only keeping a close 14-13 deficit after an ace by
Eliana Moultrie (El Paso, TX/Canutillo HS). However, the Falcons would take set three 25-20, winning the match 3-0.
The Mustangs will be back in action on Friday Oct. 7
th against St. Mary's University (5:00 PM MT) at Gil E. Steinke Physical Education.
