Live stats and video will be available at wnmumustangs.com

LAST TIME OUT:
Having been nearly three months since their last meeting, the Mustangs and Falcons of UT Permian Basin faced off Saturday on Drag's Court. UTPB claimed the first win back in November in overtime, 104-97.
This time around, WNMU has the home court advantage. Leading by 11 at the half, the Falcons would spark a second half comeback in hopes to sweep the season series. Although, UTPB outscored WNMU 44-39 in the second half, the Mustangs grabbed ten more rebounds overall to secure the 81-75 win.
Elijah Holifield (Atlanta, GA/Pace Academy) and Rodney Simon (Boston, MA/Randolph ) each had a double-double on the night. Holifield recorded 17 points and 14 rebounds, while Simon contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Mustangs. Tony Avalos (Las Cruces, NM/Onate) chipped in 16 of his own, followed by Eddie Giron (Monterrey, Mexico/Harmony Science Academy) (11) and CJ Vanbeekum (Phoenix, AZ/Paradise) (10).

ANGELO STATE RAMS (18-6, 14-6 LSC)
The teams met back on Jan. 4 in San Angelo, with the Rams holding off the Mustangs 92-79 to open the 2020 half of the season. Malik Sanders (Durham, NC/Smithfield-Selma ) shot 6-for-13 from the field, and 3-for-4 from deep to tally 15 points. He completed his first double-double of the season, notching 10 assists.
Shooting nearly fifty percent from both the floor and beyond the arc, WNMU went to the line just two times the entire game, while ASU had 32 opportunities at the charity stripe.
Since then the Rams have sported a 9-4 record, five of which were road matches. Senior guard, Collin Turner ranks seventh in the league, averaging 17.3 points per game to lead the Rams offensive efforts. Andres Ibarguen takes care of the defense for the Rams, averaging nearly ten rebounds a game, totaling 238 so far this season.

LUBBOCK CHRISTIAN CHAPS (17-8, 14-6 LSC)
When these teams met back on Jan. 2 in Lubbock, the Chaps used a 20 point advantage in the first half to claim a 90-58 victory in Rip Griffin Center. CJ Vanbeekum (Phoenix, AZ/Paradise) and Rodney Simon (Boston, MA/Randolph ) chipped in nine points and four rebounds to lead the Mustangs.
After opening the new year against WNMU, LCU will close out the regular season against the Mustangs, this time on comfort of Drag's Court. On a two game winning streak after home wins against Texas A&M Kingsville and International, LCU sits in a comfortable position to make the conference tournament.
