  • A kill from Deyzha Samuelu (Garden Grove, CA/Edison High School) tied the set at 24, forcing extra points.
  • Ultimately, an ENMU ended it to give the Greyhounds a 1-0 edge.
  • ENMU won the opening points again in the second, leading a majority of the set to on their way to a 25-21 set win.
  • In a must win set three, it would be the Mustangs who captured the first few points taking a early 7-1 lead.
  • WNMU hit over 300 in the third to win 25-20, forcing a fourth.
  • Set four saw the Mustangs go down early, but battle back to get within one at 24-23.
  • The ENMU offense would prevail, giving them the set and the match.
  • In the battle of East vs. West, the teams split the series for 2019.
