Silver City, N.M – The Texas Woman Pioneers and Texas A&M Commerce Lions travel to Silver City for the Mustangs last two games of their three game home stand. Play continues this Friday at 5 p.m. against Texas Woman, followed by Texas A&M – Commerce on Saturday at 6 p.m in the Fieldhouse.
The Mustangs dropped to 2-4 in conference play, after a three set sweep by UT – Permian Basin on Monday night. With two players out with injuries, the Mustangs look to their reserve players to step up and get the team back on track.

Selai Damuni (Kula, HI/Tempview High School) had a double-double on Monday posting 13 kills and 11 digs. Freshman setter,
Madelynn Culp (Vancouver, WA/Union High School) continues to post impressive numbers, averaging 5.53 assists per set.
Texas Woman – Pioneers (3-3 LSC)
The Pioneers from Texas Woman are currently on a five game winning streak, dating back to Sept. 14 when they defeated Texas A&M – Kingsville, 3-2. Their last two wins came in straight sets, against MSU Texas and Cameron.
Maggie Pyles leads the team with 195 kills (3.10 p/set) with Kate Ranes who currently leads the conference with 11.00 assists per set. Bailey French is currently second in the conference with 325 digs, averaging 5.42 digs per set.
Texas A&M – Commerce Lions (4-2 LSC)
The Lions are currently third in the conference just behind Angelo State. They are also on a five game winning streak, dating back to Sept. 11 when they defeated Texas Woman 3-1.
The Lions are led by Middle Blocker, Jaslyn Wacker with 2.67 kills per set, behind Rylie Fuentes who averages 5.37 assists per set. Junior Middle Blocker, Shelley Chapron leads the conference with a .395 hitting percentage, and averages 1.05 blocks per set.
Come out early and enjoy Family Weekend and "Dollar Days" where there will be hot dogs, chips and drinks for a dollar each before Friday's game from 3-5 p.m. Saturday the fun will continue with games and ice cream before the game at 6 p.m.
