Silver City, N.M.—Mustang volleyball returns home to Drag's Court to continue conference play. Friday's matchup has the Mustangs facing Cameron at 6 p.m., followed by MSU Texas on Saturday at 4 p.m. (MT).
The Mustangs were 1-1 last weekend, dropping the conference opener in five sets to Texas A&M- Kingsville and rebounding the following day with a three set sweep against Texas A&M- International.
The Mustangs were led by
Bria Augustine (Bell Flower, CA/Mayfair High School) who finished the weekend with 25 kills, 12 of which were accompanied by 11 digs during the second match of the weekend for her sixth double-double on the season.
Sophia Mitchell (Houston, TX/Katy Taylor High School) also contributed back-to-back double-doubles this past weekend, with 21 assists and 11 digs against Texas A&M- Kingsville, followed by a 19 assist and 11 dig performance at Texas A&M- International.

Deyzha Samuelu (Garden Grove, CA/Edison High School) hit an impressive .636 in the three set sweep over Texas A&M- International.
Cameron University Aggies

Cameron travels to Silver City after dropping both home matches last weekend to West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico.
The Aggies are led by senior, outside hitter Paige Dixon with 127 kills, averaging 2.54 kills per set. The defensive efforts are led by senior, defensive specialist Britnee Altic who averages 5.28 digs per set.

The Mustangs of MSU Texas look to rebound this weekend, after dropping their conference openers in straight sets to West Texas A&M and Eastern New Mexico.
MSU Texas is led by redshirt freshman outside hitter, Addy Cook who leads the team with 2.76 kills per set. Defensively the Mustangs rely on sophomore defensive specialist, Jaycie Fuller who averages 3.57 digs per set.
