Women's Basketball Hosts Sul Ross State

Silver City, N.M—The Women's Basketball team is back in action playing host to Sul Ross State at 2 p.m. today on Drag's Court.

The Lady Mustangs left for break on a high note, defeating Embry Riddle (AZ) 63-53 on the 16^th, bringing their overall record to 4-4.

Sara Lopez (El Paso, Texas/Horizon High School) led the team with 14 points, while Cassandra Vickery (Tularosa, NM/Tularosa) followed up with 11 of her own.

This will be the last game for the 2018 year. Both teams will be back to defend home court next week against in-state rival Eastern New Mexico and West Texas A&M.
