Commerce, Texas -- The Western New Mexico volleyball team had their two game winning streak snapped this evening by the #21 Texas A&M - Commerce Lions by scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-17.

It was a quiet night for the Mustangs as they finished the match hitting .109. Two out of the three sets saw the Mustangs hitting below .100.

As a team Western finished the match with only 24 kills, compared to the Lions 54.

Western did however showcase tough serving racking up 8 service aces, and 8 blocks to the Lions 5. Madelynn Culp (Vancouver, WA/Union High School) contributed three of those aces and Adriana Leon (Lodi, CA/Sahuarita High School) added two of her own to the total.
