SILVER CITY, N.M. – The game between New Mexico Highlands University and the Western New Mexico University women's basketball team that was scheduled for Monday at 5:30 p.m. was ruled to be a no contest.

The teams weren't able to find a date on the schedule this season for a reschedule and instead will have the game next year in Silver City.

The Lady Mustangs open Lone Star Conference play this Thursday at No. 7 West Texas A&M starting at 5:30 p.m. (Central Time).
