SILVER CITY, N.M. – The Western New Mexico University softball team ran a Mustangs Minnie Camp on Monday, May 12 with the USSSA 12U girls.
 
"It was great to see our players and staff get excited to help out with the players and the community," head coach Angela Corliss said. "The USSSA 12U girls were very attentive and eager to learn; it was a great experience for all of us."
 
Participates from the USSSA 12U team included: Kaya Furry, Destiny Huerta, Carley Henderson, Ajia Richard, Rachel Bobo, Destinee Quintana, Raegen Sunchild.   USSSA Mustang Coaches were Mario Quintana and Rudy Huerta.
 
Lady Mustang players that helped out were Tessa Fanning (Cottonwood, AZ/Mingus Union), Alicia Enriquez (Gilbert, AZ/Mesquite), Amber Taynton (Lakeside, CA/El Capitan), Domi Shone (Gold Canyon, AZ/Mesquite), Davi Martin (Silver City, NM/Silver City), Breanna Aker (El Mirage, AZ/Apollo), Mariah McDonald (Silver City/Silver City High School), Breanna Diaz (Las Cruces, NM/Mayfield), Stephanie Higgins (Escondido, CA/Mission Hills High School), Linzy Granger (Carlsbad, NM/Carlsbad), Lacy Granger (Carlsbad, NM/Carlsbad), Alexis Lawton (Gilbert, AZ/Mesquite), Kylie Christman (Litchfield Park, AZ/Millennium), Kale Gahn (Phoenix, AZ/Pinnacle High School), Mary Othon (Tucson, AZ/Desert View High School) and Ricki Gentry (Lakeside, CA/Christian High School). WNMU coaches Angela Corliss, Kristina Barr and Aimee Vasquez (Ruidoso, NM/Ruidoso High School) each helped out as well.
