Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. – Adams State opened the game on a 6-0 run on their way to an 88-56 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference victory over the Western New Mexico University women's basketball team Saturday night inside Plachy Hall.

ASC (7-13, 6-10 RMAC) opened with a jumper 31 seconds in and later a three followed a free throw for a quick 6-0 lead a minute and a half into the game.

Morgan Wohltman (Queen Creek, AZ/Highland High School) tallied the first six points for the Mustangs connecting on two three-pointers.

A Lonnie Sanchez (Scottsdale, AZ/St. Mary's High School) three at the 11:41 mark cut the deficit to six, 17-11, but that would be as close as WNMU (0-20, 0-17 RMAC) would get the rest of the way.

ASC ripped off a 15-0 run to stretch the lead to 21, as they would take a 24-point lead (45-21) into the locker room.

Chloe Cable led all-scorers with 19 points, along with 10 rebounds. Kassie Scott (El Paso, TX/Coronado High School) posted 17 to lead the Mustangs, followed by 10 from Wohltman. Scott also led the team in rebounds (7) and assists (4).

WNMU will remain on the road as they will play at Western State College in Gunnison this coming Friday night with gametime set for 6 p.m.
