Even a big home crowd for CSU-Pueblo couldn't tame the Mustangs Saturday night. WNMU led the entire way and blew the ThunderWolves to pieces, 84-66.

WNMU (9-13, 9-6 RMAC) came onto the court with their adrenaline pumping and opened the game with a 17-4 lead. The ThunderWolves (9-10, 6-9 RMAC) cut the lead to four, 26-22, midway through the first half, but it didn't last long. WNMU rallied and put together a 10-2 run that left the ThunderWolves in the dust.

Two Mustangs produced double-doubles. TJ Riley (Tyler, TX, Chapel Hill High School, Lamar University) put up the biggest numbers with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Jeron McIntosh (Albuquerque, NM, La Cueva High School) put up a pair of 10s with 10 points and 10 rebounds. 

Chad Carter (Tucson, AZ, Ironwood Ridge High School) registered 23 points and three blocks.

The Mustangs committed only nine turnovers in the victory and shot .455 from the floor.
