After leading 2-0 against Colorado Christian Friday night, WNMU could not find the court with their swings the rest of the match. In the final three sets, they produced 20 hitting errors and only registered 19 kills. WNMU fell to the Cougars, 3-2 (19-25, 22-25, 25-13, 25-20, 15-9). Both teams are now 6-5 in RMAC play, and the Mustangs even out at 8-8 overall.

WNMU's middles were the only consistent purple and gold hitters of the night. Jordan Johnston (Boise, ID, Centennial High School) had six kills and two errors off of 12 attempts (.333). Heather Rux (Cottonwood, AZ, Mingus Union High School) had one of her best performances of the season with nine kills and one error on 29 attempts (.276). As a team, the Mustangs hit a meager .081.  The two middles also combined for three of the teams seven blocks.

Four Cougars posted double-figure numbers in the kills category. Andi Weber led all players with 18 kills. She was followed by Erica Brown who had 16. CCU hit .207 overall with the fourth set being their best. They had 16 kills and only two errors off of 38 attempts (.368).

Defensively, WNMU's Schalicia Degase (Truth or Consequences, NM, Hot Springs High School) had a match-high 24 digs. Marilee Frost (Long Beach, CA, Robert A. Millikan High School) followed with 17 of her own.
