The Adams State College defense forced two turnovers on New Mexico Highlands University's first four plays last weekend as the Grizzly football team quickly built a 10-0 lead en-route to a 27-7 road win over the Cowboys. The Grizzlies are 1-4 overall and 2-1 in the RMAC. The WNMU Mustangs continue to search for their conference win of the season as they are 0-3 in the RMAC. WNMU got their lone win of the season in the season opener over Sul Ross State University on September 5.

Play-by-plan man Dan Karcher is the play-by-play voice of the "RMAC Football Game of the Week". Karcher has spent 25 years behind the microphone, the last 20 with the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, the triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies baseball team. Karcher is joined by long-time RMAC coach Wayne McGinn as the color analyst. McGinn is the all-time leading rusher at Adams State College and has more than 20 years of coaching experience in the RMAC at Adams State, Western State and CSU-Pueblo. Jon Eddy patrols the sidelines. Eddy is the co-host of the "RMAC Radio Show" and is the on-field host for the Sky Sox.
