The visiting Mustang women's tennis team sprung an upset, defeating Metro State 7-2. The match was played in Denver, Colorado on Friday (Apr. 13).

Tereza Pilatova and Raquel Valdenebro continue to show desire and extreme effort according to coach Erik Burton.

"If Valdenebro continues to impress with her energy and effort, she could be the freshman of the year in the RMAC," commented coach Erik Burton. "I have no doubt that the Lady Stangs are pushing to be a top seed in the RMAC tournament comming up on Friday in Pueblo, Colorado."
