Lady Stangs Win Second Straight, 72-61 Over Colorado Christian

Lakewood, CO -- Western New Mexico's women's basketball team won their second-straight game Friday night and third on the season as they handed Colorado Christian a 72-61 loss in Lakewood, CO. The win moves the Lady Stangs to 3-8, 3-3 while CCU slipped to 4-9, 0-6.

Western controlled the game from the outset, leading by as many 20 with 9:29 to go in the game, but the Cougars cut that lead to seven points at the four minute mark before the Mustangs drew out to the final 14 point margin.
