The RMAC announced that Greg Pool (Surrey, British Columbia) is this week's RMAC Men's Golfer of the Week. Of the last four weeks, three WNMU women golfers have received this honor. This is Pool's second Player of the Week award. His first came September 20. Pool fired three consecutive under-par rounds this week to set an individual WNMU 54-hole tournament scoring record of nine-under par. Pool also fired nine-under in last year’s Cactus Thaw, but that was a 36-hole event at WNMU’s home course, Silver City Golf Club. With the tournament at Estrella, Pool also moves into the career most rounds played category, recording 111 rounds over 3 1/2 seasons. He has missed just one tournament during his career.
