Maldonado had a week to remember. Not only did she drive in 12 runs in the four games against Midwestern State, she hit two home runs, three doubles, had 10 hits and seven runs scored for a .588 batting average. She added a 1.118 slugging percentage and a .579 on-base percentage. Maldonado drew a walk and didn’t have a strikeout. She started the series out right as she had a three-run homer and drove in four in game one. Later that day she added another three-run shot and went 4-5 with four RBI to drive in eight on Thursday. The next day she added a pair of hits and an RBI in game three and then concluded the series with three hits and three RBI. Maldonado is currently on a nine-game hitting streak and leads the team in multi-hit games with 12 and multi-RBI games with seven. She leads the conference in doubles with 15.
