Mataele came up with some big digs to help preserve points, as she posted 30 digs (5 per set), while adding a service ace and six assists. In the 3-0 win over West Texas A&M she came away with 22 digs and then added eight in the 3-0 win over UTPB. She was also strong in serve-receive, handling all 19 against the Buffs and nine against the Falcons.
