Diaz was able to come up big for the Lady Mustangs in three tough match this past week going against South Central Regional teams Dallas Baptist, Newman and MSU Denver. Diaz posted two singles victories against Dallas Baptist and Newman. Against #43 Dallas Baptist she recorded a 7-5, 6-2 win and then added a 6-3, 7-5 victory versus Newman with both of the matches being played at No. 6. In both matches she collected the only singles point for the Lady Mustangs. Diaz leads the Lady Mustangs in singles victories with six and is on a three-match winning streak.
