Gutierrez picked up her fourth 30-point performance of the season when she tied her career-high with 36 points in the win over Texas A&M-Kingsville. She made 12 field goals, four three-pointers, went 8-8 at the foul line and added a double-double with 10 rebounds. Against Angelo State she added 27 more points with 10 field goals and five three-pointers, along with five rebounds. In the game against the Rambelles she scored her 1,000th point in her career and she also finished the regular season leading the conference both in total points and points per game. For the week she averaged 31.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals while making 41 percent and 39 percent from three-point range. Gutierrez finished the season leading the conference in both total points scored (526) and points per game (19.5). Nationally she was 17th in points per game, 25th in free throws made (129), second in minutes played (1,038) and 56th in field goals made (172).
