Gutierrez went off for her second 30-point game of the season tallying 32 points, making 9-17 from the field, 2-4 from three and a perfect 12-12 at the charity stripe in the game against Tarleton State. She also added five assists and two steals. It was the sixth time this season that she has gone for at least 20 points in a game. In addition, Gutierrez now has two of the top three scoring games in the conference this season and following her big performance, she is now tied for the LSC lead in points per game at 17.9. Gutierrez added 17 points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal versus Texas A&M-Commerce. For the week she averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 assists, 1.5 steals and made 15 field goals, making 40 percent from the field.
