Mataele came through strong during the Westminster Invitational as she was named to the All-Tournament team after posting 71 digs, averaging 4.73 per set, along with 19 assists and five service aces. She had at least 16 digs in all four matches, going for a high of 21 in the victory against Minot State. She added a double-double with 10 assists. She had a real strong day on Saturday, as both matches went just three sets, but she came away with 17 digs against Texas A&M International and then 16 against Westminster.
