Carolyn Castillo took advantage of the at-bats she had against Fort Lewis. The freshman had just five plate appearances over the three games she played, but went 4-5 (.800 average), with two home runs, five RBI, three runs scored, 10 total bases, 2.000 slugging percentage and .800 on-base percentage. She had a hit in the two games in which she had a plate appearance, hitting a two-run homer in her only trip to the dish in the second game of the series. In the final game of the series, she drilled a late two-run shot and ended up 3-4 with three RBI and two runs scored.
