Garcia earned RMAC Player of the Week honors following a blistering four-game set against New Mexico Highlands. She piled up amazing numbers that included a .625 batting average going 10-16 at the plate, six runs scored, four doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI, 20 total bases, 1.250 slugging percentage, .647 on-base percentage and all of this without a strikeout. She also extended her hitting streak to 17 games. She had multi-hits in all four games, posting a pair of three-hit contests. She opened the weekend with two, four RBI games. In helping WNMU to the sweep on Saturday she had four hits and eight RBI, which included three doubles and a home run. She accounted for all four RBI in the 4-1 win in the second game Saturday. She added to that a 3-3 and 3-5 games on Sunday driving in five more runs with a double and a home run. She delivered the walk-off double to drive in two runs in the final game of the series leading WNMU to the improbable 12-11 comeback in the seventh.Â
