Gnilozubov had a strong start to the season going 2-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles. Against Mesa CC he posted a doubles victory with Tristan Da Lio at the top spot claiming the 8-5 victory. In singles, he cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2. After a pair of close matches against Grand Canyon, he came back strong with a doubles win with Da Lio 8-6 at the top flight versus Arizona Christian and then a singles 6-4, 4-6 and 7-6 win at No. 2.
