Austin was named the RMAC Pitcher of the Week Tuesday for the second time this season. She was basically unhittable in the four games she pitched in this week. Austin allowed just a 0.76 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched that included three wins and 20 strikeouts. She allowed just 11 hits and two earned runs. In the first games of the weekend, she started the first game going all five innings against UCCS to tally the victory, as she gave up just one earned run and had five strikeouts. Later that day she came on in relief to hold CCU in check to allow the offense to comeback for the win as she gave up just four hits and no runs in 4.2 innings and added six strikeouts. On Monday, she came on in relief in the second game against UCCS to tally the win going 1.2 innings and posting two strikeouts without a hit or run. In the first game against CCU she went seven innings and had seven strikeouts, allowing just one earned run on three hits.
