Austin was lights out in the circle in leading the Lady Mustangs to the sweep of Adams State. She went 2-0 with a save in allowing just two earned runs and six hits (.118 batting average) in 17.1 innings of work. In the two games she started she went the distance in both, including an extra inning eight inning victory which included seven strikeouts. Later that same day she came back in relief to pick up the save allowing just one hit in two innings with three strikeouts. She started the week off right in the first game tossing seven innings with no earned runs and six strikeouts.
