Mary Othon was named the RMAC Player of the Week for her performance against Colorado State University-Pueblo and Chadron State. Othon led the Mustangs in batting average (.667), RBI (8), slugging percentage (1.167), on-base percentage (64.3) and tied for the team lead in hits (8), home runs (2) and added three runs scored. She was perfect on defense behind the dish with 20 putouts and two assists, including throwing out a potential base stealer. She had a hit in all four games, with a pair of three hit games. She also had an RBI in each contest, reaching a high of three against Chadron State.Â
