White shot an unprecedented 66 during the final round of the Cactus Thaw to help propel the Mustangs to the Thaw title by nine-strokes. White collected a pair of eagles during the Thaw, one on each day, and his 66 was the best of any Mustang during the Thaw and his 66 tied for the low round in the field.

He moved up the leader board on day two, as he opened with a two-over 73 and after his five-under 66 he ended up tying for third. In addition to his eagle during the last round he also recorded five birdies, all on the back-nine.
