Hernandez was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for her performances against Black Hills State and Chadron State this past weekend. Hernandez pulled down 17 rebounds and added four steals and two blocks in the wins against Black Hills State and Chadron State. She collected 10 rebounds, nine defensive, in the win over the Yellow Jackets. In that same game she came away with two blocks and three steals. She added seven rebounds, five defensive, against the Eagles with one steal. Hernandez also chipped in eight points for the weekend.
