Auelua threw down 13 kills each against New Mexico Highlands and Western State as Western New Mexico defeated both teams at home in three games last week. In Tuesday’s match against the Cowgirls, she posted two digs and two blocks. On Saturday against the Mountaineers, she added seven digs and a block. For the week, she hit .262 (26-10-61) with nine digs and three blocks. After averaging 4.33 kills per game last week, she improved her season average to 2.43. Since the home stint, Auelua has hit .244 and averaged 3.50 kills per game. Prior to that, she averaged 1.83 kills per game and hit only .151.
