Sophomore Jacob Riley opened the year strong placing seventh at the George Kyte Classic this past Saturday. Riley came across with a time of 23:31.5 and he was the first of the players that weren’t running unattached to place. The Mustangs finished fifth as a team in the open race and Riley’s time was better than 23 Division I runners.
