Almeida went a perfect 5-0 in the RMAC regular season in both singles and doubles play following a 3-0 weekend. In singles action at the top flight, Almeida cruised to straight set victories in each match against MSU-Billings (6-1, 6-1), Metro State (6-3, 6-4) and CSU-Pueblo (6-4, 6-4). With teammate Jean-Laurent Pageault at the top doubles slot, they collected wins over MSU-Billings (8-2), Metro State (8-6) and CSU-Pueblo (8-4). He is ranked 44^th in the nation and has won seven straight singles matches. This is the third time this season he has collected the award.
