Tiurina rolled to a pair of conference victories against Colorado Mesa and Colorado Christian at the top flight in singles action. Against Colorado Mesa, she cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win and then added to that a 6-1, 6-3 win over the Cougars. In doubles action with senior teammate Marie Monier they collected an 8-3 win against the Mavs and then a 8-1 win over Colorado Christian at No. 1. Against Division I New Mexico State, she was leading in her singles match, 5-4, and doubles match, 5-3, when the match was halted.
