Almeida posted solid results to start the 2014 season. He opened with a 6-0, 6-0 win against Glendale CC and then added to that straight set wins over Mesa CC (7-6, 6-4) and Point Loma (7-5, 7-5) with all of his matches occurring at the top flight. In doubles at the top position with Juan Pablo Fuentes, they rolled up victories against Glendale CC (8-1), Mesa CC (9-8), Point Loma (9-7) and Sonoma State (8-3). For the week he went 3-2 in singles and 4-1 in doubles.
