McDonald came through with the clutch hit in the season opener as her game-winning double scored two runs in the 2-1 victory over Texas-Permian Basin. She had a hit in all five games at the Desert Stinger, including a multi-hit game against Notre Dame de Namur. She posted three RBI for the week which led the team.
