Senior setter Alyssa Meihack (Fallon, NV/Churchill County High School) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Setter of the Week .
Meihack was solid once again, setting up the WNMU offense for a .220 team hitting percentage. She dished out 86 of the 93 total team assists in two wins. She had a high of 44 in the win over CSU-Pueblo and in that same match she had two kills and seven digs. In the win over New Mexico Highlands she added 42 more assists, along with three kills, seven digs and three block assists. She finished with averages of 12.29 assists per set, 2.00 digs per set, 0.71 kills per set, and 0.43 blocks per set.
WNMU cruised to wins over CSU-Pueblo (3-0) and New Mexico Highlands (3-1) this weekend to win their fifth straight at home. They are now 19-5 overall and 11-4 in the RMAC, good for a three-way tie for second.
This is the second time this season she has won setter of the week as she opened the season by collecting the award on Sep. 9.
