Western New Mexico University Athletics

WNMU sophomore Scott Crichton (Dalgety Bay, Scotland) had a spectacular showing at the NCAA Division II Northwest Regional Championship held in Petaluma, California. He finished tied for first (72-71-76=219) with the University of Nebraska – Kearney’s Max Hadenfeldt. This was Crichton’s top finish of the season. In addition, he was named to the First Team Academic All-RMAC last week. Crichton has a cumulative GPA of 3.63. This award goes with the other award he won the week prior, the 2007-2008 All-RMAC Men’s Golf Team award.
