Western New Mexico softball player Rebecca Reynolds (Benson, AZ) has been named to the 2008 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Second Team All-Conference. Reynolds was placed on the Second Team as a utility player. In 2007, she was also placed on the Second Team but that time as an outfielder. After a shoulder injury sidelined her last summer, head coach Scott Woodard found a spot for her as a designated player and, once in a while, in the outfield this spring. Reynolds has appeared in 54 of the 55 games played this season. Batting .315, she has posted 53 hits overall. Twelve were doubles, two were triples, and seven went over the outfield fence. She also brought in 38 runners.
