WNMU men's tennis player Rodrigo Almeida was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Wednesday. 

The sophomore cruised to three wins at singles, playing two at No. 4 and the others at No. 3. He won both against top teams in UC-San Diego and #40 Sonoma State in straight sets playing at No. 3. He also collected one win on the doubles side against Grossmont teamed with Jean Benoit Belin. He is 9-2 this season in singles, collecting one win at No. 2, 4-0 at No. 3 and 4-1 at No. 4.
