Carter lite up the Mountaineers scoring the first 11 points of the game for the Mustangs, including connecting on his first four shots from the field. His 27 points against Western State was a season-high and not only did he do his damage scoring points, but he also collected nine rebounds in the game which is also a season-high. For the week, Carter averaged 25 points after posting 23 against Colorado Mesa Friday, he also averaged seven rebounds, two blocks and a steal. He shot well from the field, hitting on 18-of-31 (58.1), including five three-pointers and was a perfect 9-of-9 from the free throw line. For the season, Carter is third in the RMAC in scoring at 16.3 per game, second in free throw percentage (91.7), and is tied for fourth in blocked shots averaging 1.4 per contest.
